The Event

This event took place at he Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University on April 6, 2006.

 Winston Churchill's portrait hangs at the Kennedy School of Government. It was decided that there should be a female sharing that honor and Ida B. Wells would hold her own.

The Letter

The speakers received a letter from Bill White, Forum Director, and Rebecca Bassin of the Women and Pubic Policy Program regarding Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the schedule for the actual celebration.
